*Our Organic Moroccan Tan is a green base solution which is preferable for fair skin. For those with olive skin, a violet base solution is recommended. We regularly use the green base solution, but if you require a violet base we are happy to provide this for you but only on request & if available in stock. Please let Gold Coast Beauty & Spray Tanning know your request when you make your booking. Violet base solution will incur a $10 fee.
TIPS FOR MAINTAINING A LONGER LASTING, BETTER LOOKING TAN:
- Shower & exfoliate before your spray tan, preferably no earlier than 24hrs before your tan
- Do not apply any moisturisers, lotions, perfume, deodorant, antiperspirant or make-up after showering & exfoliating
- Shave/wax before your spray tan. At least 8hrs beforehand is recommended but not necessary. Shaving/waxing will open up your hair follicles & this is what can cause the dark dots that may appear on your skin after you have washed off your tan
- Leave tan on for 2-4hrs but no longer than 4hrs. YOU CANNOT SLEEP IN THIS TAN!
- Try to stay as cool & dry as possible while your tan sets
- Be prepared to wear something dark & loose after you have been spray tanned
- Do not use a body wash, soap or gels when you wash off your tan as some of these can remove it. Make sure you have washed tan away thoroughly
- Once showered pat your body dry with a towel, try not to rub
- Apply moisturiser to your body after every time you shower to help maintain your tan
- Avoid – swimming at the beach & in pools, spas, saunas & anything that may encourage excessive sweating as these will shorten the life span of your tan
