DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS
Group bookings may require a deposit to secure your pamper party date. The deposit will be deducted off your total, and the outstanding amount will need to be paid in cash on the day (no credit card facilities available sorry, direct debit payments are acceptable though). The deposit is non-refundable.
To secure your party date, the deposit must be paid within 2 weeks of notifying Mobile Beauty & Spray Tanning of your booking. Once you are ready to book your party date, you will be given bank details for your deposit. If you are making a last minute booking, please contact us to discuss.
If your deposit is not received within the first 2 weeks of your request, your date will not be held and it will be released to another client if required.
On the day of your party, you cannot cancel ANY treatments or change to a lesser value treatment. If a guest does not arrive at all or a guest changes their mind, their treatment/s will still need to be paid for in full. Gold Coast Beauty & Spray Tanning suggests that you collect treatment money from guests prior to the party, so you are not out of pocket if they fail to attend.
Please note that no refunds will be given to guests who do not inform us of allergies/skin conditions that prevent them from having their treatment performed, and who refuse to choose an alternative treatment. We understand that sometimes your guests will not inform you of their allergies/skin conditions, however if they have chosen a treatment that our therapists cannot complete due to hygiene/cross-contamination concerns, their treatment will still need to be paid for in full. Another guest is welcome to take their treatment if that guest does not want an alternative one.
ALLERGIES, CONTAGIOUS/NON-CONTAGIOUS SKIN CONDITIONS, PREGNANCY
Gold Coast Beauty & Spray Tanning therapists take every care with our clients and use only professional products. However, a full skin analysis and consultation for every client is not possible at a pamper party. Please ensure that you advise us of any allergies you and your guests may have including sensitive skin or if anyone is pregnant. We will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions or adverse effects to products if we have not been advised of any allergies or skin conditions. Please note that clients who are pregnant may not be able to have certain treatments depending on how far along they are in their trimester.
We pride ourselves on providing a professional and high quality service to our clients. For this reason, if a client has a skin condition that our therapists could spread to other parts of that client, to other clients, or to herself, she will refuse to do that treatment and will instead offer an alternative treatment if one is able to be offered. Please understand that client safety is our highest priority and do not be offended if a therapist advises she is unable to do the chosen treatment. This includes clients who are pregnant. Refunds will not be given if we are not advised prior to the day that a client has an allergy or skin condition.
PARTY NUMBERS AND CONFIRMATION
Please inform Gold Coast Beauty & Spray Tanning within two weeks of your inquiry with confirmation of the number and type of treatments, names of ladies receiving treatments, and the treatment duration. If your booking is under a total of 4 hours one therapist will only be required. Please also inform us if anyone is pregnant, has sensitive skin, allergic to essential oils, nuts or seafood/shellfish, or if any lady will be arriving later or needs to leave early. This is imperative so we can organise your schedule to run smoothly.
Once party numbers and treatments have been confirmed, your party total, less the deposit paid, is the amount owing which will need to be paid by cash on the day. Please note that the number of people confirmed is the number that you will be charged for. This is not the total number of people attending your gathering, it is the number of people who will be receiving treatments.
No cancellations are possible on the day. Once your party details have been confirmed, all treatments must be paid for in full. If guests change their mind on the day, their treatment can be given to another guest. If they don’t wish to have a treatment and another guest does not want it, that treatment must still be paid for.
If guests wish to have extra treatments on the day or last-minute guests arrive and decide to have a treatment, our therapists will always try to accommodate them. However, please understand that this may not always be possible, as therapists may be required at another pamper party after yours. If timing and product/equipment allows, we will do our best to fit in extra treatments.
PARKING FOR THERAPISTS
Please ensure a parking spot is allocated as close as possible to your venue, as our equipment is heavy and cannot be carried too far. If you are having your pamper party in a hotel, one parking space for each therapist must be provided and paid for if necessary. This can usually be arranged with reception of the hotel.
If your booking is in New South Wales, it is YOUR responsibility to inform Gold Coast Beauty & Spray Tanning of any time differences (eg Day Light Saving Time). We are located in Queensland & will be running our schedule to Queensland time.
TRAVEL FEES & OTHER FEES
If a travel fee is applicable, it will be added to your booking total price. For areas located within a 15km radius from Burleigh Heads Gold Coast QLD, no travel fee will be required for bookings $40+. If your suburb falls outside of this area a travel fee may be required. Please mention your suburb when asking for a quote.
Please also note that if you are wanting French polish with any of the manicure & pedicure services, please inform Gold Coast Beauty & Spray Tanning of this before the date. French polish is usually not included with these treatments because of time, but if you require French polish there will be an extra fee.
Any clients having a manicure or pedicure treatment must remove all nail polish, shellac, gel etc prior to your booking. If any of our therapists need to remove these before starting the treatment your treatment will be cut short due to time taken up with removal. If a client does not want their treatment cut short they will be charged a fee for removal.
